Find the purchased item and the linked account
Skinport’s buying guide separates checkout from delivery to Steam. It directs buyers to their Skinport inventory and the linked Steam account’s Trade URL. Use the same account that made the purchase and check whether the intended Steam account is linked.
Keep the order reference before changing any setting. If you have several Steam accounts, an empty inventory on one account does not show where a different account’s purchase was delivered. Match the account in the service record with the account whose Steam offers you are reviewing.

Request delivery only when the item is available
The published buying guide describes selecting a tradable item in the Skinport inventory and using its withdrawal action. It is an older guide, updated in September 2021; follow the current item status and delivery controls rather than treating every pictured menu as current.
Read any restriction or availability date on the actual item. This guide does not repeat the older article’s game-by-game cooldown rule, because Steam’s CS2 protection system has changed since that article was written.

Match the Steam offer to the request
Review the offer reference supplied by Skinport and compare the actual items before confirmation. Do not accept an unrelated replacement offer because its sender uses a familiar avatar or mentions your purchase.
After acceptance, check Steam’s own offer history and the relevant game inventory. Receiving the skin and being allowed to trade it again are different questions. Use the item’s current Steam details to understand any further restriction.
- Check the item, finish and any special details you paid for.
- Check whether the request generated more than one offer.
- Keep the offer ID and request time together.
- If the link fails, record the error before retrying the delivery action.

If a delivery offer expired or was cancelled
The published buying guide describes unaccepted delivery offers returning to the Skinport inventory. Recheck that inventory and the request status before purchasing the same skin again; an expired delivery attempt does not by itself establish that a new purchase is necessary.
If the item is still absent from both places, contact official support with the order reference, item details, request time and Steam offer state. Ask where that specific item is recorded. Do not share your Steam password, recovery code or authentication code to obtain a delivery.
