THE QUICK ANSWER
SkinCashier says a declined or returned payout goes back to its site balance and triggers an email. Match that credit to the existing payout before treating the money as a completed external payment.
01
Start from the payout record in Transactions
Find the payment in SkinCashier’s Transactions page and record its reference, selected method, amount, currency and status. Check whether a payout actually exists: an accepted Steam trade and money released from the sale are earlier stages.
SkinCashier says CS2 sale money is released after Steam’s seven-day Trade Protection ends, while its Rust, TF2 and Dota 2 sales release after the trade completes. The money can then enter site balance or go directly to the selected payout route. A CS2 sale still waiting for release is not yet a failed bank or crypto payment.

These are separate documented stages, not proof of a completed individual payment.
StrikePot illustration| Sale money not released | Keep the sale reference and its protection/release notice. |

| Payout exists and is pending | Read that method’s payment status before creating another request. |
| Payout declined or returned | Find the matching credit back to SkinCashier balance and email. |
| Payout marked sent, recipient has nothing | Keep the external payment reference and ask about delivery. |
02
Match the failed payment to its balance credit
The current help says a payout that is declined or returned is refunded to SkinCashier balance, with an email notification. Compare the failed payment and the credited balance entry using the same reference where available, amount and date. Site balance is the place to look for that returned amount; it is not proof that PayPal or a wallet received it.
If you cannot find the credit, ask SkinCashier to reconcile that existing failed payout. Include the payment reference, the failed status and the balance history you can see. Do not claim that the amount disappeared merely because it is absent from the external destination, and do not assume an unrelated balance increase is the refund.
The help asks users to correct payout details and withdraw again after a returned payment. First establish that the original request failed and its money returned. A payment that is still pending needs its own status checked before a replacement request.
03
A pending PayPal payment has a different check
SkinCashier’s help identifies an email address not linked to a PayPal account as a common reason for a pending PayPal payout. In that case PayPal can hold the payment until it is claimed. Check whether the recipient email used on the payout is the one linked to the intended PayPal account.
That explanation is a possibility, not confirmation of your payment’s cause. If the address was wrong or the status is unclear, use SkinCashier’s official support with the existing payout reference. A pending claim is different from a declined payout already returned to site balance.
04
For crypto, keep the estimate separate from what is sent
SkinCashier documents Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin on their main networks. It says Ethereum payouts are ETH, without USDT or other tokens. Keep the chosen asset and network with the payout record; “crypto” alone does not identify the destination used.
The displayed crypto fee is an estimate of network cost. Its crypto guide says the actual network fee and exchange rate apply when the payout is sent, so the coins received can differ from the earlier estimate. A change in a later exchange’s valuation is another question from whether SkinCashier created and sent the payout.
The same guide says a payout too small to cover the network fee fails and returns to site balance. A published amount floor does not remove the need to inspect the final quote. Match any such failure to its refund record rather than entering an assumed zero network cost.
| PayPal | 2% fee; USD 1 minimum and USD 10,000 maximum. |
|---|---|
| Bitcoin | USD 2 displayed network estimate; USD 5 minimum and USD 10,000 maximum. |
| Ethereum | USD 0.50 displayed network estimate; USD 4 minimum and USD 5,000 maximum. |
| Litecoin | USD 0.10 displayed network estimate; USD 0.50 minimum and USD 10,000 maximum. |
05
Check the offered method and verification notice
Use the payout method in the current operational help and your own confirmation. The help’s table names PayPal, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin; older FAQ text and footer logos mention additional methods. A logo does not establish that an account can currently receive a payout that way.
SkinCashier also says it may request identity information before a transaction goes through, and its terms list excluded territories. An account review or unavailable method is a separate status from a payment marked failed and refunded. Ask which condition applies to the existing request; a new quote does not resolve the old payment record.
06
Give support the two records that should agree
A useful request is “Payout [reference] shows failed; please identify its matching balance refund.” If a returned credit is present but the corrected method is still unavailable, describe that as a separate issue. This gives support a precise record to trace without claiming a diagnosis or outcome.
- Save the failed or returned payout’s reference, method, amount, currency and exact status.
- Locate the corresponding balance credit and the notification email; note anything that does not match.
- For a pending PayPal payment, check the recipient email and ask about that specific payment’s claim state.
- For crypto, retain the selected asset/network, original estimate and any supplied external reference.
- Open support from skincashier.com and ask it to identify the returned credit or the unfinished delivery stage.
BEFORE YOU CONTINUE
Quick checklist
- Confirm that a payout was created.
- Separate sale release, pending payment and failed/refunded payment.
- Match a failed payout to the returned balance credit.
- Keep crypto fee estimates and actual sending details separate.
- Use the existing reference for a focused support request.
