SkinSwap Market: compare Instant and P2P offers

Read SkinSwap’s delivery label, documented fee and seller window before choosing an offer for the same CS2 item.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Instant and P2P offers use different delivery routes. SkinSwap documents a P2P fee and seller window, with a non-delivery refund returning to site balance.

01

Read the label on the offer you selected

A SkinSwap item page can offer more than one seller or delivery type. Check the actual offer, rather than treating the item name as a single checkout choice. SkinSwap’s March 2026 buying guide distinguishes Instant delivery from an external seller’s P2P delivery.

Record the selected full item, price currency and delivery label. If you switch to another offer, repeat the comparison; the cheaper line may come with a different fee or waiting period.

Explanation: two offers can have different delivery terms

  1. Instant

Documented as immediate through Steam with no fee.

  2. P2P

External seller; documented 1% fee and up to 12 hours.

  3. Compare

Read the selected offer’s final total and exact attributes.

02

Compare the documented delivery costs

The buying guide describes Instant offers as immediate Steam delivery without a fee, and P2P offers with a 1% fee and up to 12 hours for the seller to send the item. Use the final purchase total to determine how that fee is displayed on your selected offer.

Do not add an extra 1% to a total that already includes it. The documentation describes the route; an Instant label is not permission to overlook a separate account, item or Steam error.

03

Use offer details to keep the item comparison fair

SkinSwap documents Float and Pattern filters on the item page. These help narrow a finish to the item details you intend to buy. Save the exact offer after filtering so a delivery-type change does not quietly change the skin.

As an invented example, a lower-priced P2P skin with a different seed is not an equivalent offer when that seed was the reason you selected the Instant item. Decide which attributes matter before comparing only the amount.

STRIKEPOT / EXPLAINED

Explanation: follow a P2P purchase record

  1. Purchase recorded

Keep the selected offer and timestamp.

  2. Seller window

Follow the original purchase for a Steam offer.

  3. No delivery

The documented refund returns to SkinSwap balance.

04

Know the destination of a P2P refund

For non-delivery, SkinSwap’s buying guide describes an automatic refund to SkinSwap balance within the documented seller window. That destination is different from money arriving back at the payment method used to fund the account.

Save the purchase reference and expected balance credit. If the seller fails to deliver, check the original purchase and refund record before placing another order; a second purchase is a separate commitment.

05

Follow the selected purchase through delivery

Keep the offer label, purchase total, purchase time and delivery state together. For a P2P offer, match the Steam offer reached through the original purchase and review its actual item before accepting.

If a delay remains, tell official support the purchase reference and whether no seller offer arrived, an offer awaits acceptance, or a refund is missing. These events need different evidence.

BEFORE YOU CONTINUE

Quick checklist

  • Record the selected offer’s delivery label.
  • Compare the final fee-inclusive total once.
  • Match float, pattern and extras across offers.
  • Remember a non-delivery refund returns to SkinSwap balance.
