THE QUICK ANSWER
Start with the original method. A pending skin-deposit portion and a completed card payment need different evidence and should not share one deadline.
01
Keep the original payment in view
Record the method, time, amount and reference for the payment you already sent. Match its sender status with the Key-Drop record before deciding that the balance is missing.
For a split skin payment, record both portions. A total shown when sending the skins is not necessarily the amount available immediately.
02
Pay by Skins: read Receive now and Receive after 8 days
The specific Pay by Skins guide shows two amounts: Receive now and Receive after 8 days. It says some funds can be available immediately while a remaining portion waits. Check the breakdown for your original offer in Add Funds → Pending Offers.
The general missing-funds article describes skin deposits as arriving after eight days. The more specific guide adds the split-payment detail. Treat the eight-day window as Key-Drop’s published credit schedule, not a universal waiting rule for every Steam action.

Original offer
Keep the selected skins and payment reference.
Receive now
Match the immediate portion to credited balance.
Receive after 8 days
Track the delayed portion in Pending Offers.
A split credit is not the same observation as an entirely missing payment.

For a provider payment, retain its order reference
Key-Drop’s help gives classic payment methods up to one hour to appear before contacting support. Keep the provider name, transaction or order ID and payment email for the private support conversation.
If the sender still shows pending, report that wording. A reference and two recorded statuses let support trace the same payment without a replacement top-up.

For crypto, match the asset, network and hash
The missing-funds guide asks for the hash, destination, cryptocurrency and network, and describes a confirmation requirement. Use the network and current deposit instructions belonging to your payment; do not assume one threshold applies to every asset.
If the payment cannot be matched, show support the original address and hash through the official support route. Keep a wrong-network observation separate from a transfer still waiting for confirmations.
05
Instant Unlock is a separate, optional payment decision
Key-Drop documents Instant Unlock as an additional payment by another method to release a pending skin-deposit amount earlier. That is a different action from asking support to trace the existing offer.
Read the original schedule first. You can ask about a delayed or mismatched record without making another payment. If the stated release point passes, keep the same Pending Offers reference in the follow-up.
