THE QUICK ANSWER
An item worth up to a limit and a percentage added to an eligible deposit describe different benefits. Compare the action you already intend to take, without treating either as cash promised today.
01
Identify the reward's unit before comparing numbers
SkinSwap's affiliate help describes a free item unlocked by one qualifying trade within 24 hours; BUY purchases are excluded. Clash.gg's Rewards page describes a bonus on the next deposit after an affiliate code is redeemed. One changes eligibility for an item reward; the other changes an eligible deposit credit.
The largest number in a headline cannot decide between those actions. Start with whether you intended to trade a skin, buy an item or fund a platform. A promotion that requires a different operation is not equivalent to a benefit on the operation you planned.
The trigger changes the benefit
Qualifying trade
SkinSwap: a timed trade requirement can unlock an item with a stated maximum.
Eligible deposit
Clash.gg: the next-deposit percentage changes platform credit.
Original intention
Match either condition to the operation you already meant to evaluate.
Two documented reward types, with no assertion of an equal cash value.

Compare trigger, cap and resulting asset
| SkinSwap qualifying action | ONE qualifying trade within 24 hours of code claim. The public guide excludes BUY purchases. |
|---|---|
| SkinSwap amount | The documented top tier is a $250 trade for an item worth up to $50; that is a maximum item value, not a fixed $50 payment. |
| Clash.gg qualifying action | The public Rewards wording applies a +5% bonus to the next deposit after code redemption. |
| Clash.gg amount | A percentage of an eligible deposit; read current method, cap and use conditions before interpreting the extra credit. |
| What neither proves | An accepted code, a guaranteed item value, eligible cash withdrawal or completed delivery for your account. |
03
Do not turn a maximum into a guaranteed reward
An up-to amount sets a ceiling. It does not identify the item you will receive or promise that every claimant receives the ceiling value. SkinSwap's guide describes revealing the reward and then claiming it in Backpack; it does not establish a fixed cash payment.
Keep the planned trade's main quote separate from its possible reward. If you compare cashout routes, use the sale quote and payout conditions first. Do not add the advertised maximum item value to proceeds as though it were money already credited.

A deposit percentage needs a base and conditions
For arithmetic only, a hypothetical 5% applied to an eligible 20-unit base is one extra unit. That calculation establishes no withdrawal entitlement, case outcome or item purchase. It also does not tell you whether the stated base includes a provider fee or whether a cap applies.
Compare the written deposit amount, extra platform credit and its restrictions separately. More credit is still a different asset from an item in Steam or money in a receiving account. If a condition is not public, leave the field unknown.
05
Write the intended action before reading the headline
- State the operation you intended to perform without the promotion.
- Read that operation's quote and conditions.
- Record the reward unit, qualifying action, deadline and maximum separately.
- Check the account's actual offer response before any action; leave an unclear or unwanted operation unsubmitted.
BEFORE YOU CONTINUE
Quick checklist
- Match the offer to the operation you intended.
- Label up-to item value as a cap.
- Calculate a percentage only from its documented base.
- Keep promotion value separate from sale proceeds or cash receipt.
