THE QUICK ANSWER

An elimination refund and the tournament’s skin allocation are separate records. Check the original mode, elimination round and final tournament status.

DatDrop: Royale refund vs skin allocation

01

The original charge covers the tournament

DatDrop’s indexed official PvP FAQ says Battle Royale entry covers every round upfront. If a participant is eliminated, the cost of rounds they do not play returns to balance.

Keep the original entry cost and the round where elimination occurred. The refund described here is for unplayed rounds; it is not a promise to return the cost of rounds already played.

A player’s exit and the tournament finish

  1. Entry

All rounds are charged upfront under the FAQ.

  2. Elimination

Identify the last round the participant played.

  3. Unplayed cost

Check the documented balance return for later rounds.

  4. Tournament complete

The FAQ places inventory allocation after the full tournament ends.

02

The selected mode also affects where drops go

The same FAQ distinguishes Safe Mode allocation according to match results from All or Nothing, where the final winner receives the regular drops. It also distinguishes standard, Crazy and Smoke scoring.

Read the mode recorded for your tournament before comparing a displayed drop with the item you expected in inventory. An unplayed-round balance return and skin allocation can both need checking without being the same issue.

03

Wait for the tournament result, not only your match result

DatDrop’s official indexed text says Battle Royale skins reach inventories when the entire tournament finishes. A participant’s own match can finish earlier.

Check whether the tournament itself is complete. Keep your elimination result and the final event status separately so support can tell a pending allocation from an absent one.

Two records can resolve at different stages

  1. Refund record

The cost of rounds the participant did not play.

  2. Skin allocation

The drops due under the recorded tournament mode.

  3. Page closure

Does not itself cancel a PvP entry.

  4. Support evidence

Original reference, round structure, mode and final state.

No live tournament, payout time or personal result is represented.

04

Closing the game page does not cancel participation

The FAQ says a PvP game continues when the page is closed or the user leaves DatDrop. It explicitly separates closing the page from withdrawal or a participation refund.

Return to the original game through PvP history and read its recorded result. Do not infer cancellation from a disconnected animation or an empty tab.

Separate the three events
Your eliminationDetermines which later rounds you did not play.
Balance returnConcerns the documented cost of those unplayed rounds.
Tournament finishThe stated point when Royale skins reach inventory.

05

Trace the exact missing event

For a refund issue, retain the entry cost, round structure, elimination round and any balance return. For a skin issue, also keep the mode, final tournament record and personal allocation.

The reviewed extracts do not provide a universal processing deadline or every detailed mode combination. Ask the operator to reconcile the original event rather than opening another tournament.

BEFORE YOU CONTINUE

Quick checklist

  • Save the original tournament reference and mode.
  • Find the round in which elimination occurred.
  • Separate unplayed-round refund from skin allocation.
  • Check that the entire tournament finished before reporting a missing allocation.
