THE QUICK ANSWER
Verify the private seed against its commitment, then reproduce the side using the completed round’s EOS hash and ID. A block number alone is not the public-seed input.

01
Joining triggers selection of the future block
CSGOEmpire says creating a coinflip does not generate its result. When a player or bot joins, it selects an EOS block expected in the future; the block data is used after it is mined.
An unfilled lobby is therefore different from a completed flip that needs verification. Keep the original round ID and the state shown when you encountered the issue.
Why an unfilled flip has no result yet
Created
The private seed is generated for the round.
Opponent or bot joins
A future EOS block is selected.
Block available
Its data contributes to the generated side.
Completed history
The round’s disclosed inputs can be checked.

First compare the seed with its original hash
The official verification script accepts the private seed and its hash. It checks that SHA-256 of the revealed private seed matches that commitment before calculating the side.
A seed-commitment warning is worth preserving in full. Before escalating, confirm that both values belong to the same completed round and were not copied from different records.
03
Use the EOS block hash as the public seed
For this calculation, the documented public seed is the full EOS block ID, a long hash. It is paired with the private seed and round ID. Find the values under Coinflip on CSGOEmpire’s Fairness page.
A short numeric block locator or a user-selected client seed from a different game is not interchangeable with that hash.
Which check failed?
Seed hash disagrees
Confirm private seed and original commitment come from the same round.
Commitment agrees
Continue with the EOS hash and round ID.
Side disagrees
Preserve the calculated T/CT and recorded result.
Side agrees
A remaining payout or delivery issue requires its own record.
This distinguishes a cryptographic commitment check from result calculation and settlement.

Compare the calculated T or CT result with history
The published procedure hashes the private seed, EOS public seed and round ID together. It derives one of two results and labels them Heads (T) or Tails (CT). Use its exact mapping when comparing history.
This does not establish payout, item valuation or trade delivery. If the generated side matches but your settlement question remains, keep that result and trace the separate transaction.
05
Separate the two possible verification failures
Tell support whether the private seed failed its commitment check or whether the commitment matched but the calculated side differed from history. Include the round ID, input record and exact output.
Use the current official article and preserve the original data. The source review did not run a live flip, join a bot or test a personal result.
BEFORE YOU CONTINUE
Quick checklist
- Identify waiting versus completed round.
- Keep the revealed seed and original hash together.
- Use the long EOS block hash and exact round ID.
- Distinguish commitment failure from side mismatch.
