THE QUICK ANSWER
Read the battle’s mode before judging its winner. Equal skin totals do not guarantee a split in Classic or Underdog.

01
Start with the selected winning rule
CaseHug’s mode help gives Classic to the highest total skin value and Underdog to the lowest, for the player or team in the selected format. Share instead pools the total value and divides it equally among participants.
Keep the mode and format with the result. A larger personal drop is not enough to identify the winner when the mode uses the opposite rule or shared allocation.
Mode decides what a tie means
Classic / value tie
Highest total roll wins under the help table.
Underdog / value tie
Lowest total roll wins under the help table.
Share / unequal drops
Combined value is divided equally.
Share / equal drops
There is still no separate tie-break winner.

Equal values trigger a roll check in the competitive modes
The tie article says an additional roll resolves equal total skin values. Its table gives Classic to the highest total roll and Underdog to the lowest.
Compare the recorded skin totals first, then the roll values used for the tied participants. Do not apply a rule from another operator or assume the first animation to finish wins.
| Classic | Highest total roll resolves the tie. |
|---|---|
| Underdog | Lowest total roll resolves the tie. |
| Share | No tie-break winner: participants receive equal amounts. |
04
Keep the result link and the values that decided it
CaseHug’s battle guide provides a My Battles view and a Copy Link action. Save the affected battle, mode, format, tied totals and the total-roll display if available.
Its documented recent-history list is short, so keep a direct reference rather than only “my previous battle.” If the displayed roll is unclear, ask support which result field it used.
05
Report a rule mismatch, not only an unexpected winner
A focused report states the mode, which participants were tied, their totals, the displayed tie-break values and the announced outcome. For Share, state the pool and the share that you cannot reconcile.
The reviewed help does not publish all rounding details or explain every possible team tie. Preserve the actual record and ask for that specific calculation.

Quick checklist
- Read the mode and participant/team format.
- Compare skin totals before tie-break rolls.
- Use highest roll for Classic and lowest for Underdog under the documented rule.
- Keep Share allocation separate from competitive tie-breaking.
