THE QUICK ANSWER
Match records by operation type, reference, item and time. A deposit, exchange, sale and withdrawal can be separate entries in one story.
01
Start with the operation you are investigating
DMarket’s September 2026 help uses the bell at the top of the page to open transaction history. It describes trading operations and item/fund deposits and withdrawals. Open that history for the account involved in the original action.
Choose the question first: where an item moved, where sale proceeds were credited, or whether money was sent out. Similar amounts at different times do not establish that two entries refer to the same operation.
Explanation: choose the history record
Operations
Items, funds and trading events.
Active
Unfinished P2P operations.
Verification
Account-check attempts.
Receiving account
Evidence outside the marketplace.

Use Active and Verification for their own records
The help places active P2P operations under Active and KYC attempts under Verification. A verification entry is an account-check record, not a receipt for a sale or a sent payout.
If you are reconstructing a transaction, note whether its operation remains active before interpreting older completed-looking entries. Keep document submissions separate from item and money movements.
| Operation history | Trading and item/fund movements |
|---|---|
| Active | Current P2P operations |
| Verification | KYC-attempt records |
| External statement | Separate evidence of the receiving bank/payment account |
03
Build a short chronological ledger
Write one row per actual event with its reference, time zone, item or currency amount and displayed status. Link the rows using the exchange or sale references shown. Where a link is uncertain, label it as uncertain.
For a fictional sequence, an item deposit at 09:00, a sale at 09:12 and a later withdrawal request are three entries. Adding the sale credit to the withdrawal amount as if both were income would count the same proceeds twice.
Explanation: three entries can describe one set of proceeds
Item deposit
Custody changes first.
Completed sale
Sale proceeds are recorded.
Money withdrawal
The same proceeds later leave the site balance.

Check custody and payment independently
An item withdrawal describes a transfer to Steam; a money withdrawal describes a payment route. The word withdrawal alone is insufficient. Include the game and item for the former, or currency and method for the latter.
A completed platform operation also does not prove a receiving bank credited funds. When following money outside DMarket, keep the payout reference and external account evidence with the same ledger.
05
Send the first broken link to support
Give official support the original operation reference, ordered event list and exact missing outcome. Include relevant screenshots after hiding private financial and account information.
If a KYC reason is the only unresolved record, the existing verification guide is more relevant. If an active P2P operation has not completed, describe that state rather than calling every history entry a bank delay.

Quick checklist
- Open history for the correct account.
- Separate operation, Active and Verification views.
- Use one ledger row per event.
- Distinguish item withdrawal from money withdrawal.
