THE QUICK ANSWER
The starting date is excluded. The tool counts Monday–Friday and skips only the extra dates you enter; it does not load a bank or country holiday calendar.
01
Enter the starting date and the written day count
Choose the starting date and enter a whole number from 0 to 365. The form uses date values in YYYY-MM-DD format. Establish which event starts the period before counting from an order date or an unrelated earlier step.
Enter extra excluded dates one per line, also as YYYY-MM-DD. Use the dates that actually apply to the provider’s calendar, including any observed closure date you have confirmed. The tool does not select a country or infer holidays.
Example: count three dates after Friday
Friday 23 October
Starting date: excluded from the count.
Weekend 24–25 October
Both dates are skipped.
Monday–Wednesday 26–28
Three counted weekdays if no extra dates are excluded.
Original calendar example for 2026; it contains no inferred public holiday.

This tool keeps your input in this page. It does not upload it, add it to the address or save it. Downloads happen only when you choose them. Reset the form when you finish.
02
Understand which dates count
Counting begins on the day after the starting date. Saturdays and Sundays are skipped. Any weekday in your entered exclusion list is skipped as well; entering a weekend again does not subtract an extra day.
The result is the date on which the requested count is reached. A count of zero returns the starting date. This is date planning, not a bank cutoff-time calculation or a prediction of when a payment will arrive.
| Starting date | Friday 2026-10-23 is not counted. |
|---|---|
| Three weekdays, no extra exclusions | Monday 26, Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October; end date 2026-10-28. |
| Also exclude 2026-10-26 | Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October; end date 2026-10-29. |

Read the treatments, then inspect the complete CSV
The page shows the end date and a preview of up to twelve dates. The CSV contains the full calendar with date, treatment and business_days_counted columns, including skipped dates and the running count.
A label of Entered holiday means the date came from your exclusion list. It does not certify that a government, bank or partner observes that closure. Keep the source of your exclusions in your own notes.
How each next date is treated
Saturday or Sunday
Skip it as Weekend.
Entered excluded weekday
Skip it as Entered holiday.
Other weekday
Increase the running business-day count.
This diagram reflects the form’s fixed rule, not every provider’s definition of a business day.

Use the provider’s real starting rule
For a payout estimate, first identify whether the period begins at approval, dispatch or another stated event. Ask the provider about an unclear starting date, local cutoff or closure rather than making the arithmetic supply that policy.
Download business-day-calendar.csv before leaving if you need the record. The tool does not save or upload your input; use Reset this form when finished. The downloaded calendar records your assumptions; it does not submit a payment enquiry or extend a deadline.

Quick checklist
- Confirm the event that starts the period.
- Remember that the starting date is excluded.
- Enter applicable closure dates yourself.
- Review the full counted/skipped calendar before relying on its end date.

Implementation inspected: business-days form, gtDay, gtBusiness and its CSV/result handler. Start-date exclusion, fixed Saturday/Sunday weekends, manual holidays, zero-day behaviour and twelve-row preview are code-defined. No bank, statutory holiday service, partner estimate or account status is queried. The October example is invented planning arithmetic and is not a statement that October 26 is a holiday.
